A corporate design created for a fictional seafood company.

They Fishy Food corporate identity was created as part of a typographical experiment. The actual company does not exist (to the best of my knowledge).

The first step was to create the logo. It was to be mostly typographical and had to work in both colour and monochrome.

After exploring many different font shapes and styles this final font was settled chosen because of the way the ‘s’ shape lent itself to the shape of a fish.

Many different colour combinations were also explored for the logo before the simple black, white and red approach was selected.

The next step was to apply this design to a range of stationery. This included business cards, letter head and a mock-up of a menu.

A complete corporate identity for a new promotional product sourcing and importing company.

DotCom Innovations (DCI) was a new promotional product supplier and importer that was in need of a corporate identity that would easily set them apart from their competitors.

The first part of the brief was to come up with a logo represented the company’s profile of being fresh, new and reliable. Because the logo could potentially appear on any number of products, it had to be clean and easily adaptable.

After experimenting with a variety of ideas the final ‘linked initials’ logo was born.

The bold letters and clean lines meant that this logo could be printed in any colour and still be easily recognisable. It also lent itself to both horizontal and vertical alignments.

From this logo a style guide was developed. It clearly showed how the logo could be used with a variety of different colours fonts and other graphical devices.

Once the style for the company was completed a range of corporate stationary was created. This range included business cards, letter heads and various company templates and forms.

Finally, a small brochure that could be used to introduce the company to potential clients was created. With minimal space and budget the brochure was designed to be as informative as possible without being overwhelming.

A corporate logo and stationery design for a small technology consultancy.

This is a corporate identity that I created for Innovative Technology Consultants (ITC), a small technology company that specialises in setting up small business servers for new companies.

The first part of the job was to create a new logo for the company. They already had an existing logo and colour scheme so the plan was to simply update the style so that it was more stylised and flexible.

Using the existing logo as a guide I set about creating a simplistic design that would work in a variety of situations.

Once the logo was finalised I set about creating a full set of corporate stationery. This included a letterhead, with compliments slip and business cards.

To help tie all the designs together a blue and yellow line device was created to run down the length of the page.
